SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 5 Urging the United States                                                                          
Department of Defense to pay veterans benefits retroactively and to                                                             
continue to provide retirement benefits for members of the Alaska                                                               
Territorial Guard who served during World War II, was read the                                                                  
second time.                                                                                                                    
                                                                                                                                
Senator Stedman, Cochair, moved and asked unanimous consent for                                                                 
the adoption of the Finance Committee Substitute offered on page 153.                                                           
Without objection, CS FOR SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO.                                                                           
5(FIN) Urging the United States Department of Defense to continue to                                                            
provide retirement benefits for members of the Alaska Territorial

be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final
